Mrs. M. Cheung said Mr. Kwok of H.K.C.C.5.A, was not able to attend this meeting because he had to deal with the Housing Scheme of HKCCSA.
2.
BT Chai mangsaid they received the staff side's letter of 17th July and also the letter of 18th July 1977 together with the proposed agenda and comments on the draft minutes of 7.7.1977 prepared by the Official Side. They were still looking at those and they were just doing as fast as they could. They were afraid that they were not yet ready to confirm the minut38. They would do it at the next meeting. On the question which they had discussed with the Staff Side in the last meeting on how the minutes should be recorded, they had been thinking again about that and they were prepared to accept the verbatin minutes as part of the full record of each meeting. What he suggested was to accept the normal minutes prepared by Mr. Runjahn and agreed with the Staff Side subject to their amendments and annexed to it, together with the Staff Side's full verbatim minutes. He asked if that be acceptable to the Staff Side.
3.
Mrs. Cheung asked would the verbatin and summarised minutes be confirmed at the same time,
4.
The Chairman confirmed yes. He would confirm both the minutes. However, he would like to make it clear that the verbatia minutes was prepared by the Staff Side.
5.
Mrs. M. Cheung accepted that.
