Either on or after initial appointment one additional increment may be granted for:-
(a) each 10 w.p.m. shorthand speed in excess of
100 w.p.m. and/or each 10 w.p.m. typing speed in excess of 40 w.p.m.
(b) each year's recognised secretarial experience
in excess of the minimum requirement.
