Shorthand/Audio Typists who have passed the probation bar, who have had at least 2 years service as Shorthand/ Audio Typists, who pass a shorthand or audio transcriptior test at the standard laid down for direct entry to the Personal Secretary grade and who pass an English examination may be considered for advancement to Personal Secretary II.
Either on or after initial appointment one additional increment may be granted for:-
(a) each 10 w.p.m. shorthand speed in excess of 70 w.p.m.
and/or each 10 w.p.m. typing speed in excess of 40 w.p.m.
(b) cach year's recognised shorthand/audio typist
experience.
