Knowledge of :-
Workshop technology including fitting, tool geometry, hand and machine tools, fabrication processes, heat treatment, and measuring instruments and gauges.
2. Principles and maintenance of plant and
machinery.
3. Engineering science and calculations.
4. Engineering drawings and sketchings.
5.
Basic principles of electricity, hydraulics and pneumatics.
6. Industrial hazards associated with power
driven machinery and safety precautions to be observed.
7.
Relevant sections of the Factories and Industrial Undertakings Ordinance and subsidiary legislations.
A. Type :-
4-year organized craft apprenticeship or 3-year organized craft apprenticeship if preceded by a relevant one-year full-time basic craft (apprenticeship) course or a 3-year course in a prevocational school, with attendance at a relevant part-time day-release or block-release craft course in a technical institute.
B. Entry Requirements :
1. Age
: Minimum 15 years
2. Minimum Education : Form III
