1. Production/Industrial Engineering

including :-

(i) Manufacturing processes and

metrology,

(ii) Production planning, scheduling

and control,

(iii) Jig and tool design,

(iv) Strength and properties of

materials,

(v) Mechanics of machines,

(vi) Production organization,

(vii)

Work study,

(viii) Engineering drawing and design.

2.

Basic electrical engineering.

3. Industrial hazards including those

associated with electrical and mechanical work and on-site work, and safety precautions to be observed.

4. Relevant sections of the Factories and Industrial Undertakings Ordinance.

VI.

TRAINING

A.

Type :-

Stream 1

4-year organized technician apprenticeship with attendance at a part-time day-release or block-release technician course in a technical institution leading to the higher certificate in production/industrial engineering.
