ANNUAL CLINICAL MEETING
I enclose a copy of a letter we have received from the Secretary of the British Medical Association, about their Annual Clinical meeting which they are planning to hold in Hong Kong next November.
2.
We realise that there can be no question of making even a provisional arrangement for the new Governor to open the meeting until we have been able to consult him. However, it would be helpful if you could give us an indication of whether on past precedent, it would be normal for the Governor to accept an engagement of this kind. If not, could you suggest who would be the most appropriate person for the BMA to approach. Perhaps the Secretary for Social Services?
