That an humble Address be presented to Her Majesty, praying that the Central Health Services Council (Variations of Constitution) Amendment (No. 2) Order 1978 (S.I., 1978, No. 489), dated 22nd March 1978, a copy of which was laid before this House on 3rd April, be annulled.

Mr Ben Ford

Mr Giles Shaw

Mr Richard Wainwright Mr J.P.W. Mallalieu

Mr Stanley Cohen

Mr Tom Torney

That this House calls attention to the large increase in volume of imports of cheap woollen fabrics from Argentina since 1976; takes note of the fact that the price of this material can hardly cover the cost of raw materials therein and requests the Secretary of State for Trade to apply immediately a countervailing duty so as to prevent a huge and rapid increase in volume, as took place in the case of cheap suits from Eastern Europe.

363 CAMPAIGN AGAINST CORRUPTION

Mr Bryan Davies

Mr John Cartwright

Mr James Johnson

Mr John Evans

Mr Kenneth Lonas

Mr Edward Lyons

That this House welcomes the further evidence,,provided by the recent dismissal of 113 policemen and the pressing of charges against a further 24, of the determination of the Hong Kong authorities to stamp out corruption in the Colony; and looks forward to the continuation of the vital work of the Independent Commission against Corruption.
