1. I submit a draft reply, Background Note and Notes for Supplementaries to the Oral Question tabled by Mr Terry Walker (Labour Kingswood) for answer on 26 April.

2. Mr Walker is a member of the Anglo/Hong Kong Parliamentary Group, though he has not asked any other questions on Hong Kong within the past two years. We have spoken to him to confirm that by "the latest charges of corruption in Hong Kong" he is referring to the recent decision to prosecute 26 police and customs officers involved in the Yau Ma Tei corruption cases.
