On 17 October I sent an interim reply to your letter of 10 October about present in prison in Hong Kong.

We have now heard from the Hong Kong Government that they have obtained a statement from the witness,
and that the Director of Public Prosecutions in Hong Kong has asked the Independent Commission Against Corruption to reinvestigate the case. The new investigation is being carried out by a different group of officers from those originally involved.
I shall write again when I have the results of this new investigation.
