MEETING BETWEEN LORD GORONWY-ROBERTS AND MR TIM CRANE HN INSPECTOR OF CONSTABULARY
Lord Goronwy-Roberts has agreed to see Mr Crane at 4.30 p.m. on 6 March to discuss his preliminary views on possible improve- ments in police morale and efficiency in Hong Kong.
2. Mr Crane is the leader of a three-man British team which
is currently studying these problems. The team has been working in the Colony since mid-January and Mr Crane's two colleagues are continuing their enquiries during his visit to England. anticipate that the study will be completed in April.
