HONG KONG: MP'S LETTER: MR CHRISTOPHER PRICE MP
1. Mr Christopher Price MP (Labour Lewisham West) has
written to the Secretary of State about Mr Thomas F M Tung, a
former resident of Hong Kong now living in the United States, who claims to have been the victim of an injustice and further
claims that he is prevented from clearing his name.

Mr Tung has, during the last year, written to HM The Queen and the Secretary of State, as well as a number of other
Ministers, about his case and had earlier raised it in 1973.
On both occasions his complaints were investigated by the Govern-
ment of Hong Kong who were unable to find any record of any conviction, or even charge against Mr Tung. Mr Tung has been informed of this; the latest occasion being in my letter of
referenc)3 August 1977.
