Alteration of a section of Tai Fo Road between
Lan Tsuen / Kam Tin Road and Wo Ho Shek.
Although we should not raise objection to your proposal of altering the abovementioned road for easing congested traffic, as it would bring about the demolition of our houses and affect our livelihood, we hereby request you to reconsider the matterwith a view to improvements.

We have been residing since our birth in the row of houses at the entrance to Cha Hang, Fui Sha Wai, Tai Hang Tsuen along Tai Po Road. Beliving in the Chinese concept that we should live and prosper in cur place of origin, we unanimously and seriously object to the proposed demolition of our houses, which will result in our loss of accomodation. You are hereby requested to commisserate our difficulties and make the appropriate amendments to the road construction proposal.
