We act for Mr. Iu (Yiu) Kwong Yim, the registered owner of the above Lot.
We are instructed by our client to refer you to a letter dated 26th November 1977 from the City District Office (Kowloon City) to our client in relation to the Crown's proposal to resume certain portion of our client's Lot for road widening purpose.
We are instructed by our client to object to the Crown's proposal which if materialized will cause hardship and damages to our client's property.
Our client's said property is now fully let out with reasonable rental income. The demolition of part of our client's
xisting building on the said Lot will inevitably affect our lient's rental income and since the usable area is reduced uture rental income will also be affected not to mentione the cost for constructing a new building on the reduced area.

However, entirely without prejudice, our client is willing to agree to the Crown's proposal if the Crown will undertake to allow our client to reconstruct a 3-storey building on the remaining portion of the said Lot and also to pay for such Oreconstruction costs. Please let us know whether our client's
without prejudice offer is acceptable to your office.
