in size, style and design to this
proposed use.

The structure of the building rendered
it unsuitable for use as a tea house.
This facility could be provided in
some other part of the grounds, if
necessary.
(vii) Public Reading Rooms
Although present facilities are in-
adequate, District Libraries will
increasingly provide reading
facilities and the Education
Department is using some primary
schools for this purpose. It
was felt that Flagstaff House
was not suitable for use as
public reading rooms.
