park land in the west, thus
forming an integral part of the
open space.
26.2.
In the final plan, the initial
proposed vehicular link between
Queensway and Kennedy Road has been
omitted. The road will now terminate
within the area and will be designed
to serve only the proposed develop-
ment in the eastern area including
the quarters in the Army Reserve
to the east.
26.3. In addition to the two crossings
shown on the preliminary plan, the
Committee proposes further overhead
pedestrian links across Queensway:
one in front of the new Supreme
Court building and one possibly
to the open space to the north.
Consideration should also be given
to the provision of a high-level
pedestrian deck along the Queensway
