Supreme Court building is well-
conceived. The level area west
of the proposed site at the
junction of Queensway and Cotton
Tree Drive can be designed and
landscaped as a forecourt to this
new Supreme Court building.
Institution and Community Uses: In
the final proposals the Committee
has re-examined the zoning for the
above uses in the preliminary plan.
It is felt that the existing
facilities in the form of a club
house, a swimming pool and a medical
and a dental clinic, as previously
recommended, should be retained for
community use.
Commercial: The Committee considers
that the commercial zoning should
provide a better environment than a
mixed commercial/residential zoning
and, in addition, this zoning would
be compatible with that planned for the Mass Transit Railway Station
area north of Queensway.
