During his meeting with Lord Goronwy-Roberts this morning,
the Governor of Hong Kong discussed the problem of the growing
number of legal immigrants from China this year.
The concern of both the Hong Kong and British Governments has
already been expressed to the Chinese authorities through
diplomatic channels and we are keeping a careful eye on developments.
