rightly condemn other regimes, like South Africa, Chile, Uganda, East Germany and the U.S.S.R. and give shelter to those who flee from these

places, why should we discriminate against the Chinese, why should we

acquiesce in the behaviour of the Chinese rulers towards their own

people. Are we following the paths of appeasement yet again or are

we just being commercially minded, either of these policies are what

I joined the party for, as my representative and as an old friend

can you give another answer ? I can forgive the nepotism and the

oligarchical structure of the party that I find even (No - particularly) in South Wales, the acceptance of perks of office, the financial fiddles

that line the pockets of some from the very organisation which they

publicly revere, all these and others are human frailties which exist

in any society but it would now appear that we have reached the stage where

ve XXXXX deny to others the right to join our society when they have risked

their very lives as an expression of faith in the rights of our system

despite it's XXINIXXXX blemishes.

I am sorry to have rambled so lengthily old friend but it is a

matter of great concern, I await your reply,

My regards to Sylvia,

Matfards.

Fraternally,

M.A.Harding
