b) The "ister Kei' Yuen-san incident:

Between 1975 and 1977,

bister kei had done no work which should be done by a janitor,

(she only gave about ten periods of mandarin lessons each week),

she was paid betwe n $1000 to $1,200 each month as janitor staff

member.

c) The making use of thehame of "Lau Siu-yin" to obtain **EX:

In 1974, Lau Siu-yin was employed as a janitor in our school. She

resigned after working for one week. But the salary of Lau Siu-yin

has continually been drawn by someone who signs in either English

or Chinese.

d, The incident of cleaning allowances for the janitor staff;

During the past years, the Education Dept or other bodies which

borrowed the school hall would give a certain sum of money to the

janitors for their cleaning and tidying-up services. But for all

these years, the janitors have seldom received this allowance.

The estimated total of money which has not yet been distributed

to the janitor staff amounts to two to three thousand dollars.

Miss Awok Pui-ti, the accountant of the school, has been forced

to sign on behalf of the janitor staff to collect the allowance.

The money, however, was not given to her. (There are receipts

and documents providing evidence for this.)

1

According to the

explanations of the school authorities, this sum of money will

be put aside and serve as the annual gratuity for the minor staff.

However, it is known that the money for annual gratuity is paid

from the Janitors

itors Grant allotted by the Education De, t. Owing

to the constant demands made by the janitor staff recently, part

of the money has been returned to them.

e) The figures of the salary of the janitor staff members on

the pay slips are not the same as the actual amount they receive:

Incidents like this have happened during the past four years. Z

Targets of investigation could be the pay slips and the janitor

staff members themselves.
