we have classified the information we get into three categories:

C) Abuse and misappropriation of the Capitation Grant and the
Collection of miscellaneous fees.
A) Salary
1/ Concerning the janitor staff
a) Salary of janitor staff not up to the standard of subsidized
schools in general: The salary of the janitor staff of our school
is lower than that of those in other subsidized schools. Between
Sept 1973 and March 1977, the highest salary of the janitors in
our school was $860, the lowest being $500. Most of the staff members
got around $600 per month. In March 1973, there was a "salary
increase". But only a Mrs Li and an Uncle Wong got their monthly
salaries increased to $950 and 900 respectively. The salary of
other staff members, even after revision, was still lower than
that of their counterparts in other subsidized schools.

of the above facts can be obtained from the janitor staff of our ·
school.
