rector they were "directly or indirectly involved with students

in defiance of the school authority".

On the other hand, despite the repeated demands from

different organizations to disclose the findings of the finan-

cial irregularities, the Education Department and the Church

remained silent.

D. The Revengeful Policy of the New Principal

Kwan, any complaints about her were deliberately ignored by

the Education Department and the Church.

the teachers and students were forced to resort to petition

the Bishop for help. Unexpectedly, the Bishop refused to see

the teachers and the students, and a sit-in resulted.

listen to the grievances of the students and teachers and they

went back to school to resume classes on Friday (May 12) in

response to the calls of the educational bodies. Is this not
