again after the morning assembly.. Miss Lo promised to inform them
of the result in the first recess. However, she told the students
that she did not feel well when the students approached her at
the time stated.. Students therefore had to wait till the second-

7. Suspension and warning letters
out of the expectation of the students, instead of being told
the result of the investigation, four students were suspended from
school for two weeks and another three given warning letters.
They were severely cautioned for "encircling" the principal and
"infringing the personal freedom" of the principal and the deputy
principal, Miss Lo. Parents were asked to take their children
home. They were warned not to let their children go to school
in the suspension period unless they wanted them to be arrested
by the police. The whole school was shocked. It was known later
that Miss Kwan intended to expel the students instead of suspending
and warning them but the management Committee objected to it.
The whole school was shocked and distressed. Most of the
students began to have a growing concern for the school-mates
being victimized. The accusation of the school was false; the
students themselves knew it..
Having learnt what happened to the students, about 14 tea-
