the legal successor to the Precious Blood School (St. Teresa's is the school that remains under the sponsorship of the Catholic Church, though with a new management committee, and which accommodates the teachers and students who did not follow the dissident teachers). The management committee for St. Teresa's has felt embarrassed by the money and ultimately decided to donate it to an educational scholarship fund run by a local newspaper: this money was first offered to the Ng Yuk School whose management committee declined the gift. While the dissident teachers have not felt able to criticise the purpose to which the money has been put, they have claimed that a decision on its disposal should have rested with all the former staff and students of the Precious Blood School. It seems unlikely that they will be able to make this an issue of this now, or in any subsequent campaign.
