1. Telephone conversation with Stuart Webb-Johnson: - according to his information, the two petitioners from the Precious Blood school, with the backing of ir Parry and Mr Easey, are trying to attract the NUTS interest in the dispute.

in that the Chairman of the Teachers' Union was allegedly reprimanded after offering to mediate in the dispute.
That the Hong Kong Government over-reacted by cancelling the contracts of the 16 teachers, which would effectively prevent them from being offered other teaching posts in Hong Kong.
They also hope to contact radical Christian Groups in the UK to put pressure indirectly on Bishop Wu of Hong Kong. Finally, they are also apparently pursuing the normal round of parliamentary talks.
