ALLOCATIONS SECTION

Dear David,

At the last meeting of the International Committee the following resolution was passed on Hong Kong:-

"The International Committee expresses its concern for the Hong Kong teachers, parents and pupils who are trying to prevent the closure of Golden Jubilee School. It calls upon the Government to publish all the details of the financial irregularities of the school authorities and to ensure that there is no victimisation of the teachers and pupils who exposed this fraud, by re-instating the pupils and 16 teachers involved."

It was agreed to refer this to you for your consideration and comment. I understand that since then the teachers have been re-instated but I think the Committee would be grateful for any information you might be able to give us about the situation.

Yours sincerely,

Jenny
