APPENDIX 1, (a translated copy)
LETTER TO THE DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION FROM ALL TEACHING STAFF OF PRECIOUS BLOOD GOLDEN JUBILEE SCHOOL
22th April, 1977.
Dear Sirs,
We are the teaching staff of Precious Blood Golden Jubilee Middle School. Recently, we have discovered certain big and blatant errors in the management of the school finance. Having collected some relevant materials, we attempted contacts with the principal, Board of Directors, and the Superior of Precious Blood Order to express our dissatisfaction and appealed the following demands:
(1) Ensure no recurring of this kind of unjust thing stated in the Council;
(2) Return the amount of money that have been proved to have gone astray.
(3) Ensure that the teaching posts of all the teaching staff would not subjected to
any unjust alternation or replacement.
The reply from the Board of Directors were:
"The Board had already made an investigation on the 4 years' account of Golden Jubilee School. We found some problems in it and had submitted the whole account to the Education Department for a re-check. We would face every possible mistake and would be ready to make any necessary amendment."
Since the Board of Directors had appealed to the Education for a full investi- gation of the account, we all felt ourselves indispensible in offering our own assistance for the investigation. Therefore, we all agreed to hand in all our re- levant materials to enable a smoother investigation. We hereby appeal an immediate exposition of the result and course of investigation to us once it it completed.
