To be eligible for appointment to the grade of Graduate Master/Mistress
a candidate must have a degree from a Hong Kong or British university,

This is normally a promotion post for Graduate Masters/Ilistresses.

The conditions for promotion are set out in Appendix 19. direct entry may be approved in the case of candidates who meet all requirements of the conditions of promotion to this grade.
Principal I/II
This is normally a promotion post for Senior Graduate Masters/Mistresses. Exceptionally, direct entry may be approved in the case of candidates who are eligible for appointment as Senior Graduate Masters/Mistresses.
Workshop Instructor II
To be eligible for appointment to the grade of Workshop Instructor II,
a candidate must
(a) have completed an appropriate form of training, such as apprenticeship
and/or institutional training, plus five years of subsequent working experience, provided that the aggregate period of training and working experience is not less than 8 years;
AND
(b) pass a trade test set by the Director of Education.
Proference shall be given 70 applicants who have the Hong Kong Technical College or Technical Instituto diplomas or certificates, or equivalent,
in an appropriate trado.

Workshop Instructor I
Such This is normally a promotion post for Workshop Instructors II. posts will only be established, however, in secondary schools with four or more workshops. The conditions for promotion are set out in Appendix 19. Exceptionally, direct entry may be approved in the case of candidates who have the qualifications and experience required of a Workshop Instructor II plus an additional six years of practical/ teaching experience and an abceptable standard of English.
