Payment of Salarios on appointment, Resignation
Retirement or Termination of appointment
(a) A teacher with one academix year's service or more vithout
or

break whose appointment torminates
(i)
no carlier them the end of a term will be paid
to the end of the school holidays following the tor (ii) no earlier than the end of the academic year will
be paid to the end of August,
) A teacher with service of loss than one academic year but more than 59 days whose appointment terminates no earlier than the end of a term, including the summer torm, will be paid
(i) to the end of the month in which the term fini shos;
(ii) to the end of the school holiday following the end
of term;
whichever period is the shorter.
(c)
(a)
A teacher with service of 59 days or loss shall be paid up to and including the last day of duty.
A teacher who rosigns from one aided school to take up a now appointmont in another aided school or in a government school, without break in teaching service, other than such broak as the Director may approve, will be paid by the school he loaves
for the period up to and including the last day of performanco of full duties in that school, and by the school to which ho
is newly appointed from the day following his last day of
performance of full duties in the former school,
In a school nowly opening the date of assumption of full duties
shall normally be deemed to be the date of commencement of classes. The
Director my approve, for purposes of grant, the appointment of staff who
are required for essential proliminary planning of new schools in advance
of the date of commencement of classes, and in the case of reprovisioned
schools ho may approve the continued payment of the salaries of stoff
of the original classes should the completion of the building be delayed
beyond the scheduled date.
