The number of school holidays, which should include public holidays, shall be the same as for Covernmort Anglo-Chinese and Middle Schools, that is, 90 days a year, with four discretionary half-holidays and one discretionary full-
day holiday in addition.
21.
The supervisor shall, in accordance with regulation 79 of the Education
Regulations, send to the Director before 15th August in each year notice of all
holidays it is intended to give in the coming school year, including any special
holidays given in honour of any particular event, and of all dates on which the
usual work of the school will be suspended.

The Director may, in accordance with regulation 82 of the Education
Regulations, by notice in writing to the supervisor of any school require that
a holiday shall be given on any day specified in such notice and the supervisor shall ensure that such holiday is given accordingly.
Curriculum and Time Table

The principal of an aided secondary school shall forward to the Director
a notification of any changes in the course of study for the coming school year,
not later than the 1st of September each year. The Director may withhold his
approval of the whole course or any portion thereof, and the principal shall
thereupon modify it accordingly.

All pupils in Form V/Middle V shall be presented for the Certificate.
of Education examinations except as the Director may otherwise determine.
In every school there shall be a time-table showing

the time at which each daily session begins and ends;
the time of the instruction given in each subject of the curriculum. A time-table for each class giving the details required under (a) and (b) above
shall be displayed in each classroom. Copies of the class and teachers' time-
tables shall be forwarded to the Director by 15th September each year.
Closing of Schools in event of Storms
26.
Schools shall be closed in the event of the hoisting of any typhoon
or storm signal higher than number THREE or as otherwise instructed by the
Director.
Use of School Fremises
27.
The premises of an aided secondary school shall be used only for
approved activities of such school, except as may be permitted in writing by
the Director.
