Aid to secondary schools may consist of one

or more of the following grants :-

Recurrent grants

(a)

(i)

salarios grant

(ii) capitation grant

(iii) library grant

(iv) administration grant.

(v)

janitor staff and cleaning grant

(vi) rent and rates grant

(vii) passages grant

Non-recurrent and capital rants

The Director shall, after making such inquiries

Es he considers necessary, determine to which

schools grants are to be made, and shall

determine the kind and amount of grant to be

made to each such school.

The Director may withdraw a grant wholly or

in part if he is satisfied that the school to

which the grant was made is no longer in need

of such grant or part of such grant.

The Director may, if it appears to him that the management committee is not managing the

school satisfactorily or that the education

of the pupils is not being promoted in a

proper manner, reduce or withdraw any grant

made to such school. The Director shall cause

a notice in writing to be served on the

management committee of such school, setting

out the grounds on which it appears to him that the school is not being managed

satisfactorily or the education of the pupils is not being promoted in a proper manner; and giving formal warning that

consideration is being given to reduction

or withdrawal of grant.
