My honorable Friend the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of
State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs [Mr Luard] is
presently in Geneva, where he is leading the United Kingdom
delegation to the consultations called by the United Nations
High Commissioner for Refugees to help find solutions to the
Indo-Chinese refugee problem. We are playing a constructive
rôle. A Foreign and Commonwealth Office Minister will report
to the House during the Adjournment Debate on Friday.
