On behalf of the Hong Kong Government and also the United Kingdom Government I should be most grateful if your Headquarters would agree to you or your representative travelling to Taiwan to help make arrangements for the refugees from the "AVON FOREST" to be flown to Hong Kong for their applications for resettlement to be processed here.

I understand that the UK Mission of the office of the United Nations and Other International Organisations at dozeva has already been informed by the Office of the UN High Comissioner for Refugees that the costs of air travel to Hong Kong will be reimbursed by UHHC R.

I should also like to record our gratitude to you for the generous help you and your colleagues have given us in the past. As you know, I fear that we shall be calling on your good offices oversimilar problems in the future.
