Question 18. If all the modifications you have suggested are effective, are
you willing to join the scheme by paying 2% of your salary or
wages?
(1) willing
(2) unwilling
(3) undecided
Findings:
A majority (74.4%, N = 1555) of all employees were willing to
join the scheme if all the modifications were effective. (Table 0096)
This figure was approximately equal to the previous figure
(78%) who considered the policy was worth buying. The difference in the
percentages were due to the fact that people would not actually buy the
policy even though it was worth buying because of financial and other
constraints. In any event, these two figures gave a positive indication
that the proposed scheme had popular attraction.
