You wrote to Gilder on 1 March about the proposed contri- butory benefit scheme in Hong Kong. As I told you on the telephone, we have been in direct touch with the Hong Kong authorities over this and I enclose a copy of a letter I sent to the Director of Social Welfare on 3 February. He has acknowledged my letter and says that it is being studied.
