54. FRAUD
In addition to the steps which may be taken to recover benefit improperly paid, any person who knowingly makes any false representation in order to obtain benefit is liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding £200 or to three months imprisonment or to both these penalties.

55.
WHO ARE CONTRIBUTORS?
Generally, any person who is insured under either the Employment Injuries Insurance or Social Insurance schemes is required to contribute to the Group Practice Medical Scheme which is administered by the Medical and Health Department. Insured persons are therefore entitled, on application to be registered in the scheme.
The scheme also provides coverage for the family of the insured person.
56. HOW ARE CONTRIBUTIONS COLLECTED
The weekly rates of contributions are payable in equal shares by the Employer and Insured Person in the case of Employed Persons. Self-Employed Persons and Voluntary Contributors (Resident in Gibraltar) pay the full contribution.
The rates of contribution given in Part I (pages 2 3) are inclusive of the contribution to the Group Practice Medical Scheme.
