Appendix VIII
(1) For hourly or other period employee, an amount of not less than double the rate of wage for working days, according to the working hours on holiday;
(2) For piece-work employee, an amount of not less than
double the rate of wage, according to the work performed on holiday.
Clause 42
If the employer requires the employee to work on holidays for a period longer than the normal working hours on working days, the employer shall pay overtime to the employee at treble the rate of wage on working days for the hours in excess of the normal working hours.
Clause 44
If the employer agrees to pay an overtime at the rate higher than that prescribed in Clasuse 34 or Clause 42 or to a holiday pay at a rate higher than that prescribed in Clause 39 or Clause 40, it shall be as such.
