Section 99
(1)
A female employee shall give notice to her employer that she expects to be confined within one month from the date of such notice.
(2) A female employee who has been confined shall as soon as practicable inform her employer of the date on which she was confined.
(3) Any female employee who omits to give notice as required under subsection (1) of this section or fails to inform her employer as required under subsection (2) of this section shall be entitled to only half the amount of any payment to which she is entitled to under this Part unless she was prevented by any sufficient cause from giving such notice.

Clause 18
A female employee, who is pregnant, shall be entitled to take a leave of absence for childbirth without pay, for a period of sixty days, inclusive of holidays, in addition to the sick-leave as prescribed in Clause 12 paragraph one. If such female has worked continuously for not less than one hundred and eighty days, she shall be entitled to receive the ordinary wage but for not more than thirty days.
If such female is unable to perform her work after childbirth, she shall be entitled to a further leave of absence without pay for a period of thirty days.
