In Korea the law provides that employers employing 30 or more workers aged under 18 must provide facilities and scholarships for general education. In all other territories including Hong Kong the payment of an education allowance is not a common practice.

Singapore policy
7.12 As pointed out earlier (paragraph 5.4 above), all fringe benefits provided by employers in Singapore are now frozen at the early 1977 level.
