Mr Handy has accepted, by implication at least, that he owes ODM the £800 advance and Northern Travel have told ODM that Mr Handy could, almost certainly, have reclaimed the cost of his ticket to Hong Kong, if he had acted earlier. Therefore, the important point seems to be that of establish- ing Mr Handy's whereabouts. It strikes me that there must be some standard police procedure in cases of this sort.
3. I would be grateful for any information on this question, as, if Mr Handy cannot be found, we will have to drop the matter.
