1. I thought you might be interested in seeing the enclosed report by Michael Walsh on the recent annual Trades Union Congress at Brighton.
2. As you will see (paragraph 24) Hong Kong received only a brief mention and that in connection with the Turner Report. We have not heard from the TUC yet but the news in your telegram No 1107 will enable us to give a holding if not satisfactory reply.
