Mr Hurst has recently been in touch with Professor Turner and understands from him that he is now unlikely to go to Hong Kong to complete his report before the middle of next month. This is very disappointing news after the efforts we made, at Professor Turner's request, to obtain leave of absence from Cambridge Unviersity so that he could go out in November.

I have not yet met Professor Turner. Mr Hust will be contacting him to arrange a lunch for the three of us before he goes to Hong Kong.
