I have the honour to refer to the letter reference (13) in SS 141/3/5683/58 dated 21 September 1977 from the Government Secretariat and to inform you that a declaration was registered by the Director-General of the International Labour Office on 3 January 1978 stating that the Rural Workers' Organsiations Convention, 1975 (No. 141) will be applied to Hong Kong with the following modification:
The Convention will be applied with the same mod- ifications as are attached to the declaration already registered in respect of the Freedom of Association and Protection of the Right to Organise Convention, 1948 (No. 87).
