INTERNATIONAL LABOUR CONVENTIONS
1. Many thanks for your letter CR 7/5683/74 of 4 August enclosing a progress report on the application of ILO Conven- tions for the first half of 1978. This indicates an encouraging rate of progress and I share your hope that you will find it possible to complete the full programme of declarations which you envisage for this year.
2. You will be now have received confirmation of the regis- tration by the ILO of the declarations in respect of Conventions Nos 90 and 142, and the Overseas Labour Adviser's Office have forwarded a declaration in respect of Convention 144 to the ILO for registration. I note that trial reports on Conventions 74 and 94 can be expected shortly.
