I think you might be interested to see the attached copy of a letter I have just received from Graeme Wilson. The point he makes in the context of para 22(ii) of the Research Dept's paper is a valid one and one that must not be overlooked if anyone is rash enough to take a gamble on what the Taiwanese reaction would be to a statement along the lines of what the PRC want.
