AIR SERVICES TALKS (9 JANUARY - 8 FEBURARY)

1.

On 9 January a DOT delegation starts talks in Dar-es-Salaam. It is expected that these will lead to the initialling of an ASA.

2. On 13 January M. Boullot of the French Civil Aviation Authority has a tour d'horizon on Anglo/French services in the Caribbean with Miss Braunton, DOT. They will be trying to sort out some irregu- larities in the operations between the UK and French islands in the region.

3. On 16 January the DOT delegation from Dar-es-Salaam will start talks in Victoria, the Seychelles. These talks are also expected to lead to the initialling of an ASA.

4.

Also on 16 January Mr Standen and Miss Brantun go to The Hague for two days to finalise the CMU on KIM's service to Hong Kong and to discuss planned services between the Netherlands and UK provincial points.

5.

On 25 January or slightly later the first round of the Scandinavian re-negotiation talks may begin in London.
