(b) where no train or accommodation

is available for the return

journey for which the return

ticket was issued, in which case

the refund shall be made in

accordance with paragraphs

(1) and (2).".

Revocation and replacement of regulation 13.

9. Regulation 13 of the principal regulations is

revoked and replaced by the following regulation

"Changing into a higher

class.

13. (1)

A passenger, while travelling,

may have his ticket made available for a

higher class of carriage on application to

a guard or ticket inspector before

assuming his seat in the higher class of

carriage if

(a) room is available in the higher

class; and

(b) he pays the difference between

the fare of the higher class

and the fare of his ticket.

(2) When a passenger, before

commencing his journey, wishes to change

his ticket for one of a higher class of

carriage and pays at the booking-office
