Many thanks for your letter dated 30th June, handed to me by Mr. Benjamin. This has been placed before the Board of KESCO for their consideration.
The question of compensatory deals involving the exchange of coal for British goods and services and/or supply of electricity was discussed at length yesterday. As you will see from the attached memorandum, the results so far are somewhat negative.
