SUMMARY OFFENCES ORDINANCE (EXEMPTION FROM
SECTION 13)(NO. 3) ORDER 1978
In exercise of the powers conferred by section
13(4) of the Summary Offences Ordinance, the Governor
in Council has made the following order
This order may be cited as the Summary Offences
Ordinance (Exemption from Section 13) (No. 3) Order 1978.

Exemption from
section 13. (Cap. 228.)
Schedule
2.
Subject to paragraph 3, section 13 of the
Ordinance shall not apply to the land formation, reclamation and associated works (excluding piling work)
for the construction of a power station at Tap Shek Kok
in Tuen Mun within the areas specified in the Schedule
and between the dates specified in the third and fourth
columns of the Schedule in respect of each such area.
Condition.
3. The exemption granted under this Order is
subject to the condition that the Director of Public
Works may at any time order work to be stopped if he
considers that the noise created is causing unnecessary
disturbance and annoyance to the public.
