The Prime Minister has seen your letter but regrets that his heavy commitments during the first part of Sir Lawrence's visit and his absence from London during the remainder make it impossible for him to see Sir Lawrence on this occasion. The Prime Minister would be grateful if your Minister of State would convey his regrets to Sir Lawrence Kadoorie.
