SIR LAWRENCE KADOORIE
Thank you for your letter of 8 June, with which you enclosed a personal letter from Sir Lawrence Kadoorie to the Prime Minister about Sir Lawrence's recent visit to China.
The Prime Minister will, I think, wish to send a personal reply to Sir Lawrence Kadoorie. I should be grateful if a draft could be prepared, in consultation with the Department of Industry, and if it could reach me by Wednesday, 21 June.
I am sending a copy of this letter, and of Sir Lawrence Kadoorie's letter to the Prime Minister, to John Mills' (Department of Industry). ;
